A light-brown, antique Swedish Biedermeier writing agency, secretary table made of hand crafted polished, partly veneered Mahogany with a writing … more A light-brown, antique Swedish Biedermeier writing agency, secretary table made of hand crafted polished, partly veneered Mahogany with a writing flap, designed by Karl-Johan in good condition. The rectangular Scandinavian secretaire is composed with three large drawers and one small one on the top. The inside consists many different sizes of storage spaces, compartments with two white marble columns and a lunette fan, particularized by brass fittings and wood carvings. The cabinet, cupboard is standing on four short tapered feet, consisting its original brass hardware and key. Minor fading, losses due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1840 – 1860, Sweden, Scandinavia.Karl-Johan was a Swedish furniture designer, born and passed away in Sweden. His personal life and professional training remains lost in history. less
